The proceedings of the Workshop on Nordic Language Research Infrastructure have now been published at LIU press. The papers contain numerous references to results and plans in META-NORD, CLARINO and other projects.
NeIC (Nordic eInfrastructur Collaboration) is holding a conference in Trondheim with a prominent section entitled «Digital Humanities – A New Era?» mentioning CLARIN or CLARINO in all presentations.
CLARIN-ERIC invites applications for grants allowing technical personnel of CLARIN centers to visit other CLARIN centers in other countries. See the information document for more details.
Norway has applied for observer status in two European infrastructure projects, ESS and CLARIN, as reported by the Research Council. This means that Norway can participate in CLARIN committees. Norway will also have a representative at the National Coordinators Forum, but without a vote until Norway can become a full member of the CLARIN ERIC.

Under the title CLARIN INTEGRATION CONFERENCE, the first encompassing internal meeting of the CLARIN ERIC is held at Sofia, Bulgaria from Oct. 26 to 28, 2012. Norway is represented by Anders Nøklestad, Freddy Wetjen and Koenraad De Smedt.
The Bergen University Library organized a panel debate on Oct. 5, 2012 at its workshop on Developing Research Support. Koenraad De Smedt participated on behalf of CLARINO.
Koenraad De Smedt gave a talk on CLARIN at the NORDUnet 2012 conference in Oslo on Sep. 18.
CLARINO and META-NORD were presented by Koenraad De Smedt at the 2nd Trondheim Workshop in Language Description and Documentation on Sep. 13, 2012. The TypeCraft database is relevant as a possible infrastructure component.
